Rick Iafelice has over 30 years of real estate experience in brokerage, land development, construction and operations. Rick has a long track record of successful partnerships with groups including First Capital Realty, Greystone, Caregard, Petro Canada, and Metro. Prior to forming Main + Main Rick successfully developed several properties, including retirement homes, apartment complexes, shopping centres, and heritage restoration projects. Rick has specialized in land developments throughout Ottawa and Toronto.
Daniel calls on a decade of experience with mixed-use development. He began his real estate career with CMHC in the 1990s. He entered development after 7 years working as a management consultant focused on real estate. He has directly managed the successful entitlement of over 1.4m square feet of mixed-use development. Daniel has extensive relationships in the design and engineering community and a deep understanding of development economics.
Chris has worked in asset management, development and finance since starting his career with Smart Centres. While at Triovest Chris managed large scale development and repositioning projects on behalf of clients such as HOOP, CPP, CP, CDPQ, Greystone and IG. Chris leads the asset management team, overseas project financing and deal execution, and lead the disposition process of over $500M in assets.
Emily has over 14 years of real estate development experience. Starting her career at Smart Centres she developed over 2.5 million square feet of retail and office across their Ontario portfolio. She moved into mixed-use and industrial land markets at Bentall GreenOak managing development and approvals for high profile purpose-built rental buildings and industrial business park properties. Emily manages development at Main + Main from due diligence, municipal approvals, building design through to construction.
The acquisition and leasing functions are led by Reza. He has over 15 years experience in property management, leasing, location intelligence, acquisitions and asset management. He spent four years helping run the national site selection, acquisitions and leasing for Northland Properties, owners of Moxies, Chop, Shark Club, and Sandman Hotels and prior to joining Main and Main, Reza worked with PenEquity handling leasing and asset repositioning.
Kyle began his professional career at Starlight Investments working in Asset Management where he contributed to the management and repositioning of thousands of purpose-built rental units across Canada. He transitioned to the Development team bringing value with his technical skills and detailed financial analysis to manage and report on dozens of active development sites. Kyle joined Main + Main as an Investment Analyst in 2018. Today he plays a pivotal role managing, assessing, and supporting the acquisition, development and investment teams.
